Where do we begin??

Balance training is an art and a science. It is something that is ingrained into our DNA. Before we were even born..while in the womb, our brains were being trained by the movements of our Mothers. Our individual journeys began when we had enough strength to move our own heads which then turned into rolling..then crawling and then bipedal locomotion...or upright movement.

"Movement is the key to life" the old saying..and it IS massively correct. Our brains thrive on movement. We need movement and we need lots of it. Unfortunately some of us, maybe most of us do not have the opportunity to move like we were designed to move in order to continue to grow our brains and become our optimal selves. To make matters worse, we live in a world where everything is flat. The current environment that we live and work in is designed and built for ease and comfort, with everything being flat and easily navigated. Well, all this comfort and ease of maneuverability comes at a cost and that payment comes from our brains performance. Without the physical challenges in our environments, the brain loses its main mode of growth.

We were built to be upright, traversing over uneven surfaces while moving all day long. That movement builds and maintains the brains ability to keep you strong, safe and happy...and that's just the tip of the iceberg!
